Terms of Service for Simply Lawn

Introduction Welcome to Simply Lawn. We are committed to providing top-quality lawn care services in an environmentally friendly manner. By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Definitions

  • Simply Lawn: Throughout this agreement, “Simply Lawn” refers to Alejandro De La Cruz Jr., the service provider, and any authorized agents or employees thereof.

  • Client: The term “Client” refers to any person or entity that engages the services of Simply Lawn.

Services Provided Simply Lawn offers a range of lawn care services, including but not limited to:

  • Mowing

  • Edging

  • Weed control

  • Mulching

  • Tree and bush trimming

  • Fertilization

  • Blowing

  • Weed eating

Service Area Our services are available within the designated service areas listed on our website. Services requested outside of these areas may be subject to additional travel fees.

Scheduling Services will be scheduled at a time that is mutually agreeable to both Simply Lawn and the client. Due to uncontrollable conditions such as weather and traffic delays, we cannot specify an exact time of service and reserve the right to change the schedule date. Rescheduling by the client must be done at least 24 hours in advance.

Frequency The frequency of your account is set based on your agreed-upon initial service, either bi-weekly or weekly. Your services are subscription-based and can be canceled anytime 1 day before your service day.

Payment Payment is due upon completion of services rendered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, and major credit cards. Billing for all services is invoiced the same business day when the service is provided.

Cancellations Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may incur a fee of $30.00. A charge of $35.00 will apply to customers who cancel mowing service or skip a mowing service any time after 5:00 PM the business day before service or on their actual service day. If your service day is Monday, a skip or change must be communicated before 5:00 PM on the Friday BEFORE. The fee for canceling or skipping a Bed and Bush service is $50.00.

Client Responsibility Client agrees to pay the charge specified during their initial signup. Client is not required to be at the home while service is performed, but the service area must be accessible and free of obstructions. Prior to scheduled visits, all pets must be secure. If you prefer to unlock your gate(s), please ensure they are open on your designated service day. If our service crew arrives and any gate is locked, they will only mow the areas they can access. There could be an upcharge for overgrown grass if we cannot regularly access an area. We recommend you install combo locks so we can give the code to our crew on your service day. You must have gate access to your alley if we are to also service that area – we cannot drive around.

Notice of Damage Client must notify Simply Lawn within 24 hours of any damage by calling 210-727-2274 during the business hours of M-F / 9-5.

Satisfaction Guarantee If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion, and we will make it right at no additional cost to you. If you feel that our work is not satisfactory, or you think that we did not show up, simply call or email a short and courteous request with pictures, and we will send our lawn mowing crew back to re-mow your lawn at no additional charge – either the same day or as scheduling permits! All requests must be within 24 hours of the service visit in question.

Complaints Any complaints, questions, or concerns must be communicated with our office within 24 hours of the service in question. We also require one or more pictures be emailed to alejandro@simplylawn.net to properly address the issue with our crew and before any credits will be issued. We try to send our crew back to correct issues reported before your next service date whenever possible. Any complaints, questions, or concerns that are not communicated within 24 hours of your last service will be addressed on your next scheduled service.

Liability

  • Property Damage: Simply Lawn is not responsible for any damage to underground utilities or other hidden structures if they have not been properly marked by the client before service begins. Additionally, Simply Lawn is not liable for any hidden property that may be damaged during the course of lawn care services.

  • Normal Wear and Tear: We do not assume liability for wear and tear to fences, house siding, or any edges where a string trimmer is used. Some wear over time is expected due to the nature of lawn maintenance work.

Declined Cards In the event that your card declines, we will try the card again the following Friday. If the card declines a second time, we will cancel all future service until the card is updated. If payment is not paid in full within 30 days, a final payment correspondence will be sent. Any accounts not paid in full within 15 days of final payment correspondence will be subject to further action.

Changes to Terms Simply Lawn reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.

Simply Lawn Fulfillment & Refund Policy

At Simply Lawn, we are committed to providing top-quality lawn care, mowing, yard care, property maintenance, and landscape maintenance and installation services. Our fulfillment policy ensures that every project is executed with the utmost professionalism and excellence.

Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Down Payments: All down payments on projects are non-refundable. The terms, conditions, and threshold of the deposit are specified in the estimate and price proposal provided to you.

No Refunds After Completion: Once the work has been completed, no refunds will be given. Our team strives to ensure that all services are delivered to your satisfaction. If you have any concerns or issues during the project, please communicate them to us promptly so we can address them.

Payment Due Upon Completion: The agreed-upon price for the completed work is due immediately upon completion of the project. Payments should be made to Simply Lawn in accordance with the terms outlined in your estimate and price proposal.
